Living in the BIG flat was a good experience all in all. I met fun people and had easy access to the center of Barcelona. There was always something going on in the area and I enjoyed walking among people in cozy streets. The apartment was modern and had a good kitchen for cooking your own food. Almost all necessary household items were to be found. The apartment lacks central heating and can be quite cold during the colder months. To my knowledge the surrounding streets can be slightly uneasy during late hours although I did not have any experiences of that kind during my stay at the flat. When I was wondering something it was easy to talk to the landlord who was very helpful always.
I stayed in the Born flat with my boyfriend for 4 months. We where overall very happy with our stay. The flat had everything one could need, from kitchen supplies to cleaning supplies etc.
Whenever there was a problem which was not very often) it was easy to reach our host and he would be there to fix it asap!
Everything went smooth from moving in to moving out, I would recommend everyone to stay with the BIG flat
I did my internship in Barcelona and during my time there I lived in the big flat.
The location is very central and you can easily access all the things you need. My roommates were very nice and everyone had a different nationality, which made things interesting. The rooms and living space were very comfortable and have everything you need. The common areas were cleaned by a cleaning service once a week as well so that was nice. Furthermore the big flat team was very nice and they will help you or assist you with pretty much anything you need. I defiantly recommend staying at the BIG flat if you are looking for a comfortable place!
Lejligheden er rigtig fin og i god stand, og så ligger den i hjertet af Raval. Et rigtig lækkert kvarter med gåafstand til stort set alt. Lejligheden er dog en smule lille til tre personer, og det ene værelse er utrolig småt og har intet vindue. Derudover er lejligheden utrolig kold i vintermånederne. Udlejererne er rigtig flinke, og hvis der er noget galt i lejligheden, kan man altid kontakte dem. Der er dog en regel om, at hvis man får besøg af folk, som skal sove hos en mere end én nat, skal de betale for det, hvilket jeg personligt synes var en smule mærkeligt. Det gode ved lejligheden er klart beliggenheden og at alt er nyt, og den har stort set alt, man skal bruge.
I have very much enjoyed my stay in the big flat, mostly because of the very convenient positioning with regards to the city center and my internship at that time; moreover, the rules were very clear from the beginning, and because of the rules everything was kept clean, in order and organized, which for me was the most appealing part of the flat. If anything was missing or you needed more plates or whatever, simply ask the team and they will provide it for you. One downside of the flat is the limited supply of hot water. You mostly live with 3 people in one apartment, if you are the last person to take a shower, highly likely you will have cold water unfortunately. (Do not know if this is the case all apartments) the BIG flat is not an enormous party house, the team expects you to be quiet around 10-11 so people that have work, internship and school can sleep without disturbance. This was crucial for my completion of the thesis. In conclusion, I do recommend this place to anyone going to Barcelona!
Sono stata ospite di BIG Flat nel loro appartamento vicino al Palau della Musica per 6 mesi ed è stata un’esperienza molto positiva.
Il team di BIG Flat si occupa di tutto, ed è super disponibile. La stanza che ho affittato era super spaziosa, pulita e decorata con buon gusto. L’appartamento era rinnovato di recente e pulito (BIG Flat si occupava di mandare una persona per le pulizie ogni settimana ed all’entrata di ogni nuovo inquilino).
L’agenzia inoltre si occupa di assicurarsi che coinquilini siano persone rispettose degli spazi e degli orari di riposo. lavoravo a tempo pieno e stavo facendo un master nei weekend quindi è stato un sollievo trovare un appartamento con persone amabili e rispettose.
Il tem di BIG Flat inoltre è sempre stato super onesto e super disponibile per ogni contrattempo (per esempio abbiamo avuto un problema con la caldaia una domenica e sono venuti subito a controllare).
Sinceramente dopo l’infinità di cutri-pisos (topaie) ed agenzie improvvisate che ho visitato nella mia ricerca di casa a Barcellona, devo ringraziare il team di BigFlat per la loro professionalità e per avermi fatto sentire a casa a Barcellona!

La cosa migliore è che ho potuto prenotare dall’Italia una camera singola per 3 mesi senza dover passare ore a cercare annunci di affitti e a contattare persone per visitare gli appartamenti una volta arrivata in città, quindi è stato molto veloce e sicuro. Ripeterei l’esperienza perché amo vivere in una zona centralissima e spostarmi sempre a piedi, inoltre se sei impegnata/o il servizio di pulizie settimanale risulta utilissimo e il team

Ich habe vor nicht langer Zeit in der Big Flat gewohnt. Die Zimmeraufteilung in der Wohnung war wie folgt:
1. Ein Pärchen aus den Niederlanden
2. Ein Masterstudent aus Deutschland
3. Ich
Von Beginn an war das gesamte Big Flat Team sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es wurde sich um alle Belange gekümmert, sei es die Anmeldung beim Einwohnermeldeamt in Barcelona oder Tipps für coole Bars in der Stadt.
Da mein spanischer Wortschatz zu der Zeit nur aus «Cerveza» und «Paella»; bestanden hatte, war ich sehr froh darüber mich mit dem BIG flat Team auf Englisch unterhalten zu können.
Die Wohnung selbst war in einem Top-Zustand, da alle Wohnungen in dem Gebäude von BIG flat erst vor kurzem kernsaniert und anschließend renoviert wurden. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer war modern und ebenfalls neu.
Man muss dazu sagen, dass das keinesfalls der Standard in Barcelona ist. Die Lage der Big Flat Appartments ist ausgezeichnet.
Man erreicht das Zentrum in 10 Gehminuten, wo man einkaufen oder etwas trinken gehen kann. Genauso dauert es von der Wohnung bis zum Strand. Die anderen Bewohner der Appartments waren alle in meinem Alter (20-25) und mega freundlich. Viele davon waren Erasmusstudenten aus ganz Europa, daher haben sich auch meine Englischkenntnisse nach meinem Aufenthalt deutlich verbessert.
Für einen Auslandsaufenthalt ist das BIG flat Barcelona Konzept perfekt. Leider ging die Zeit viel schnell vorbei, doch der nächste Aufenthalt ist schon in der Planung!
